Dr. Gerald Johnson's practice has been located in the city of Houston, Texas, U.S.A. for the past 30 years.

Gerald W. Johnson, M.D. graduated from the University of Arkansas Medical School and did his internship at Arkansas Baptist Hospital. After serving as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force, including 1 year in Viet Nam, where he was awarded the Air Medal and the Bronze Star, he completed his training at Hermann Hospital and the Baylor-affiliated hospitals. Dr. Johnson has since been practicing in the Houston area for greater than twenty-five years in plastic, reconstructive and endoscopic surgery.

He has performed over 25,000 surgical procedures, basing his practice primarily by client referral rather than advertisement.

Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (not a member of the A.B.M.S.). He is an inventor and innovator of many new surgical techniques, improving upon cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures, by reducing scarring and prolonging results. His work is as aesthetically pleasing as are his talents in technical merit.

Dr. Gerald Johnson has published in several plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic journals and has lectured across the United States and overseas regarding his innovative endoscopic surgical procedures.
