Breast Lift (Mastopexy):
The procedure to lift or raise the position of the nipple one or both breasts,
known as a Mastopexy, might be sought after by a woman for one or more of the
following reasons:
- Age: the natural tendency of the breasts to succumb to gravity. The breast tends to sag with age.
- After pregnancy: the breasts may lose their youthful and "perky" appearance after one or more pregnancies.
- Asymmetry: the nipple of one breast is naturally lower than the other.
During a consultation, Dr. Johnson will discuss options for the procedure with the patient. Dr. Johnson has developed a procedure for lifting the position of the nipple that is virtually scarless compared to the common mastopexy techniques that are practiced by the majority of plastic surgeons.
The mastopexy procedure can also be combined with the placement of implants for the woman who may feel that she needs both lifting and enlargement of the breasts. For information about the Breast Lift, follow these links:
Endoscopic-Assisted Breast Lift with Augmentation:
There are NO SCARS on the breasts. An incision is made in the axilla (armpit) from which the breast lift is accomplished. The breast is both lifted and enlarged, for those women whose breasts have both drooped and reduced in volume.

Endoscopic-Assisted Breast Lift Only:
The endoscopic-assisted breast lift(endo-mastopexy), without augmentation(enlargement), is accomplished via an incision made within the axilla(armpit), also. This procedure also provides for NO SCARS on the breast and allows a woman whose breasts have drooped, yet retained their volume, to restore her breasts to a more youthful appearance.
