Patient Consultations

Dr. Johnson's office is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of each week. Dr. Johnson performs surgery on Mondays and Tuesdays, and sees patients for consultations on Wednesdays.

The exception(s) to this standard is/are:

Patients that need to be seen post-operatively.

Patients that are traveling from out of town and wish to make only one (1) trip to Houston. For these patients, the following is suggested:
- Schedule a patient consultation for a Monday.
- Have surgery performed on Tuesday.
- Have the opportunity to be seen one day post-operatively on Wednesday.

Other rare instances of hardship are sometimes allowed, as the schedule will permit (i.e. work schedule/vacation days). Patients for consultation on surgery days for reasons other than the two listed above may experience an unexpected wait at the office, depending on the timing of the surgery schedule.

There is no charge for your 1st consultation as a new patient. There is a $75 charge for a 2nd consultation and $75 for patients that are returning after more than one (1) year post-operatively. All fees are due upon services rendered.

Dr. Johnson's office accepts the following forms of payment:

If you wish to try to be reimbursed by your insurance company, Dr. Johnson can dictate a letter for pre-certification for submission to your insurance company.

Dr. Johnson does not directly accept insurance for his fees.

Financing is also available through outside providers.

Should a patient decide to schedule surgery within six (6) months of the initial consultation for surgery, the consultation fee is credited toward the fee(s) for surgery.
